Jeghui vs Joyah

This is a conversation I had with Joyah (obviously not her real name) regarding the issue of Mutaah (Contract) Marriage versus the Islamic polygamy marriage system. Some parts were in Bahasa but I expect each and every single Malaysian would be able to comprehend the whole story (unless you only go to Chinese Schools from the beginning of your age and do not mix around). As usual, the bombshell is right at the end.

Jeghui: Do u know that there are ppl practising kawen muta'ah here?

Joyah: Kawen mutaah tu ape? Contract marriage?

Jeghui: Yeah

Joyah: Heheheh

Jeghui: Its so immoral

Jeghui: Nk kawen, kawen je lah

Jeghui: Why kena ada contract term?

Joyah: Sbb maybe after their work contract habis, they hv to go bk to respective countries Jeghui: Its immoral don't u think?

Joyah: I won't think so

Jeghui: After that, what happened to the woman?

Jeghui: Ditinggalkan?

Jeghui: Kena cari pengganti lain?

Joyah: Maybe its against the religion but as long as both man n woman hv a mutual agreement its ok

Jeghui: I think about the woman

Jeghui: Laki mmg boleh cari lain. Woman susah

Jeghui: Lebih2 lg kalau org tau dia dah kawen

Joyah: Yeke? Not in these modern days la

Jeghui: Would u marry someone for a term of 1 year? Are u that open minded?

Jeghui: Would u let your daughter marry someone for one year only?

Jeghui: What about men changing wives every year under muta'ah contract?

Jeghui: Acceptable to you?

Joyah: not to me

Joyah: But maybe others r ok w it

Joyah: Plus for me 1 year is too quick la.. My bf rship is longer hahahaah

Jeghui: Ook

Jeghui: Ok maybe 5 years? Acceptable?

Jeghui: Haha

Joyah: Yupp

Jeghui: Ok. U surprised me. For me muta'ah is disgusting and a disgrace. Polygamy better and halal option. Let's just agree to disagree. :]Y

Joyah: Ahahhaahaha

Joyah: Thts bcuz poligamy is acceptable in your religion. I consider tht acceptable not basing my opinion on religious perspective

Joyah: N of course polygamy is better and acceptable for u bcuz u r a man. U yg dpt 4 wives. Ur answer is gender bias. Wht if women can practice poligamy as well.. Wud u find tht a better option too!

Jeghui: My religion is not your religion?

Jeghui: If I were to be bias, I would choose muta'ah hands down.

Jeghui: Imagine I live until 69 yrs old. Now I'm 29. 50 virgins per year tuuuuu

Jeghui: *79

Jeghui: *50 virgins in total lifetime

Jeghui: Belum ada overlapping lg tu

Jeghui: Hahaha

Joyah: Wht makes u think ull get all virgins?

Jeghui: Muta'ah is in no way helping the women

Joyah: And wht makes u thnk Ull get 1 each year?

Jeghui: Its a metaphor. Since muta'ah is allowing this

Jeghui: But again, my religion is not ur religion?

Joyah: Neither mutaah nor poligamy is helping women. At least mutaah the woman has a choice. Nak join la. Tknk jgn la

Jeghui: Same goes. Women can choose to reject polygamy

Jeghui: In my religion, its harram to force anyone to marry u

Jeghui: Poligamy can help women if its used with good intentions

Jeghui: Say my best friend died, and he before that told me to take care of the wife and kids. And I don't mind. And the wife agrees. Isn't it helping?

Jeghui: He told me secretly when he was alive. Of course with signed papers etc

Jeghui: That's one way of looking at it

Joyah: Ape ape la Jeghui

Joyah: Ur scenario is too gd to be true nwy.. Unlikely to happen in real life.. But if it makes u happy.. Go ahead n believe it

Jeghui: Don't apa2. This is a two way discussion. Its healthy.

Jeghui: I'm with my opinion. You, with yours

Jeghui: its quite enlightening to hear from different perspective. I'm no bigot

Joyah: Seriously I don't need this talk now. I'm w my luvly anak pinjam n my session shudnt be disturbed w ur opinion or religious talk

Jeghui: Didn't know Islam is that disturbing.

Jeghui: My sincere apologies if I annoyed you today. Wassalaam.

Joyah: Religion isn't disturbing. Man's view on religion is

Jeghui: Maybe you misunderstood me or something

Jeghui: I dunno

Jeghui: But it would be very-very sad if u meant to say that my religion and your religion is not the same anymore :(

Jeghui: Joyah? Tell me that's not true right? As a friend, I'm concerned

Joyah: Isk tk la.. Don't be silly

Jeghui: Okay. I can sleep well tonight

Jeghui: :)

This banter happened about six months ago. Last month, Joyah has accepted the hand of a prince… after allegedly “befriending him for 10 years”, according to a source closest to her.

Joyah became the prince’s third wife.

The truth has won again.

Hijab & Hudud wont make us more Taliban

I have been trying to understand what is the big fuss a bout covering up after a recent outrage about models needing to follow some dress codes for billboard advertisement. I believe this so called outrage is politically motivated since those tikus politikus still think every single Malaysian adore them. I honestly feel that people grew tired of the political slandering and self-praise but rather the people just want to see the result of good governance and policies.

I personally agree that models should wear decently on billboards. These models are someone's son or daughter or father or mother and the reason they were called models is because they should set an example to our kids. And just to point out, how many of you parents here would like to see your children wearing so revealing? I know I wouldn't for the sake of my unborn children.

The thought of setting out dress codes for models depicting the way of Taliban is somewhat far fetched. Please read what and who are the Talibans. Little did they realise, the sudden attacks on these Talibans, hudud and PAS will create an opportunity for racist, anti-Muslim scum from among our people to attack Islam the religion of peace and justice. Stupid Stats were also given out claiming 1.2 Million people will be jobless, cunningly said because more people will have their hands cut for stealing / bribery.

Islam's answer is simple. Do not steal, do not take bribes. And your hands will still be attached to your body!

I know PAS is only using hudud and the push for an Islamic state for their political gain. I bet they should because many of their supporters are Muslims who believe in the Islamic agenda. For many years PAS has been consistent about hudud until about 3 to 4 years ago when "ulamas" from the "Erdogans" camp site boldly stated that hudud should not be applied when there are still poor people who are forced to steal!

Says who? These Erdogans playing God now? I myself was left disappointed by these Erdogans stand and the leaders of PAS kept mum about it, maybe in a way to please other Pakatan component parties. Or maybe under the directive of the not so great "PM-designated" Anwar Ibrahim, the Tok Wali of the PAS-DAP marriage.

You ever wonder why suddenly people are talking about Hudud in Malaysia? It's all just bloody politics if you ask me. The sudden U-Turn by PAS leaders regarding Hudud is expected (I guess to the dismay of my former college-mate who is active in PAS but cannot do a turn around now). The Malay-Muslim supports are waning because of the Erdogans' lame stand on Hudud and when the leaders realise this, they publicly announce Hudud and Islamic State are still main parts of their agenda. Then, the game is back on. MCA started attacking Hudud and PAS and as you can see, they are on a roll.

But I must say hats off to those in PAS who are strong willed with principles. If people in Malaysia are so scared of hudud, they have to keep asking themselves, do I like to steal, to rape, to rob, to commit adultery, to kill and so on? Why are we supporting the criminals?

For a fact, I have been a fan of this Quranic rule although a former school-mate's wife thought otherwise. She was lucky I did not sue her haha! Living in Riyadh, I do not live in fear but I find it very peaceful because the bad guys are more afraid to commit crimes. If the law is strict, people are more afraid to commit crimes. If you now complain about the escalating number of crime rate, you should not be supporting the criminals now if the government would like to introduce stricter laws.

Of course we have to be realisitic. The word Hudud is a taboo for most Non-Muslims in Malaysia and thats why you will see MCA attacking PAS about it from all angles as we speak. What we should push for is stricter laws to punish the criminals. Few years for statutory rape, two years for the crook Khir Toyo, Indonesians facing the gallows for killing robbers for self defence, robbers only spending overnight at the police station and later released, justice for criminals who were shot by police calling trigger happy, prostitution ring sporadic, drug smuggling will not face death penalty anymore, leaders, public figures and "people with bright future" getting away easily are a few examples why you see people in our country are not afraid of committing crimes.

The problem of Talibans is that they make these rules in a way to show their power, to bring fear to the people as a whole so that their people bow to them like Gods.

For Malaysia, stricter laws should be introduced to bring fear to the CRIMINALS as a whole so that the CRIMINALS bow the good citizens and surrender.

Justice for Criminals?

1. Recently there have been some issues regarding cops killing armed-criminals causing a public outcry especially from a certain community.

2. The head of a Gangster group called Dewa was shot dead few days ago.

3. A young criminal was killed in a shootout and later the deceased's sister apparently forced her children to consume weed killer before taking it herself.

4. Today, a 22-year old man hanged himself after he was found guilty of killing his own mother and stuffing her body in a bag, under the sink. The cops are now accused of killing the man instead.

5. A young lad was shot to death after going amuk in a village armed with a chicken knife, just because he was left stranded in a karaoke outlet by his friends.

5. Cops are under pressure for allegedly using the 'shoot-to-kill' method when dealing with armed criminals.

6. I am not a law major but I did watch some American teles and films about how cops over there deal with armed criminals.

7. 'Suicide by cops' is a situation where an armed criminal actually pretends to shoot the cop (pointing the gun/weapon to the cop), and in the end, he is shot to death.

8. For this scenario, the cop will get away for being prosecuted for acting 'above the law'.

9. What if the cops and criminals are caught in a shoot-out rampage? Do you think it's easy to actually shoot someone without having to kill someone?

10. What if the criminals are notorious for raping, armed-robbery, killing, drug-trafficking (and causing more deaths) and they are on top of the Most Wanted List?

11. Should we just be 'nice' to these criminals? Or just kill them off?

12. This is one of the loopholes in the man-made law system.

13. While there is a need to protect the rights of criminals as citizens, we don't want to overeact on how actually they should be treated.

14. Do you think these criminals care about your lives when they are after your money/jewelleries/etc?

15. For me, if the cop shot dead a notorious killer, he should be lauded, not questioned. It is a sad thing losing a family member, but isn't it more sad to see your own flesh and blood roaming the town, killing, raping, extorting money from other people?

16. This is a general opinion. If I were to touch on case to case basis, it would be foolish because I don't even know what really happened.

17. For me, criminals are criminals, if their deaths are necessary to make this country a better place, so be it.

18. Think about the victim's family more and you will see why sometimes it should be that way.

19. Give some credits to the cops. Not all of them are friggin tw*ts.

20. Go to the source of the problem, reduce crimes by introducing stricter punishments.

Beer-drinking - again

I am very surprised there are large numbers of people in support for Alcoholism.

I am living with the English people and they have a very strong beer-drinking culture and are these Malaysians trying to adopt this kind of 'healthy' culture from England just to look 'cool'?

Almost every Thursday there will be a drinking session (some call it Happy Hour in Malaysia) at about 4 p.m., and I do join them whenever possible.

My drink? Non-alcoholic cider, Coca Cola or Non-alcoholic cocktails.

Do they find me weird for not drinking? Probably not. After I told them I don't drink alcohol.

Do I get their respect? Yes. Because I was being honest and strong-willed when comes to practicing my religion. They even said that it's good I don't take alcohol because it's unhealthy.

These are the same people who have been drinking for thousands of years you see. And yet they concede it's unhealthy!

Okay, other letters in Malaysiakini might suggest the writers are atheists, by suggesting that 'it's up to the individual to decide to drink or not'.

My decision not-to-drink was first based on the teaching of my religion, Islam, and as I grow older, I know alcohol is bad for everyone when consumed as drinks.

I have seen their faces, how some can be quite blunt, volatile, randy and aggressive when they are drunk... and I am supposed to accept the fact that he's drunk that's why he groped my girlfriend when dancing?... Or rape my cousin?

Hell no! They shouldn't drink at the first place. It's like people nowadays (many Malaysians included) are being in-denial about the bad things about alcoholism, simply because they love drinking it. They don't want anyone take their love away from them. Quite obvious innit?

So, what about drugs? Ecstasy, shabu, marijuana (weed as they call it), they are easily available now in the clubs in Malaysia. They make you feel good and they seem 'harmless', so you are saying its up to the individual to decide?

How about a 12-year old kid, being introduced to smoking weed, and he thought it was harmless. You just let him decide? You don't need law-enforcement to ban drugs or alcoholic drinks to people like him?

Self-regulation MY FOOT!

Do you think the banning of cigarettes in convenience stores to under-18 actually works? These people are only interested with maximising profits!

Now, I am not suggesting a full ban on alcohol. Maybe there is a need of a certain law that will have the CCTV cameras picked and viewed randomly to see if the stores are not selling alcohol to Muslims and cigarettes to under 18s. I think that's the best we can do at the moment.

Oh by the way, there is one thing missing with the budget 2010. The increase in tax for demerit goods like alcohol and cigarettes.

In conclusion, I do not smoke, I do not drink because I think its unhealthy and I don't want my children to do those as well. I am not pious, an Ustaz or someone from PAS, but I don't do alcohol because I believe there is Allah, I am a proud Muslim and I fully understand why its bad for everyone.

So stop trying to 'convert' us non-drinkers with your petty human rights to decide what is right or wrong. I do have my right to practice my religion and so does Kartika. Now that is human rights.

Beer-drinking is bad. 'Nuff' said.

Ungrateful and wrong

National STPM Top Scorer, Jia Hui had her father wrote to TheStar dated 16 July 2009:

"The prestigious London School of Economics (LSE) was not on its new prestigious university list, dated March 30, 2009. In fact, foreign university applications for the 2009 intake closed before the date on the list.

I explained to its officer that the approved University of Melbourne, which my daughter had rejected earlier, was much easier to enter. My daughter said LSE is famous for actuarial science and is one of the top three universities for social science, ahead of Oxford, Cambridge, and Melbourne.

The officer said that PSD based its selection on overall university ranking, not on specific courses. The officer added that all the 20 students chosen in this round were Chinese and there was no issue of racial quota. As a national top scorer, my daughter lost to 20 students of the same race.

My daughter is disappointed and has lost her confidence. She is confused on what is defined as achievement. As a parent, I am unable to explain to her what is fair and justified. I am also unable to tell her whether our national education system is inferior or if the scholarship award process is faulty?"

Jeg Hui to Jia Hui:

1. I don't think PSD literally said that LSE is not a prestigious university. I think what they meant to say was that LSE is not the best in providing Actuarial education in terms of syllabus cover and potential exemptions offered.

2. Why reject Melbourne Uni? This is a selfish, ungrateful act. People are finding so hard to get scholarships nowadays. Just because you are one of the best students you think can always choose where to go? This is quite arrogant of you. The fact that you said LSE is better than Melbourne is not right at all.

3. As an actuarial student, he/she would go for a university that offers maximum number of exemptions, mostly maximum of 8 for Core Techniques subjects from their degree. Currently, the Actuarial Profession offers:

London School of Economics
Exemption from Core Technical Stage subjects: CT1, CT3, CT4, CT5, CT6, CT7, CT8
7/8.

Oxford (Said)
Exemption from Core Technical Stage subjects: CT1, CT2, CT3, CT7, CT8
5/8

Cambridge
Exemption from Core Technical Stage subjects: CT3, CT6
2/8

Melbourne University (SURPRISE SURPRISE!)
Exemption from Core Technical Stage subjects: CT1, CT2, CT3, CT4, CT5, CT6, CT7, CT8
All 8.

4. I don't think racial issues played the part if that's the father is trying to imply here. Please bring this Malay-hatred-because-PSD-is-Malay attitude somewhere else.

5. Of course your daughter is confused, she didn't even get it right about which university is the best for actuarial studies.

6. My only question is, will you be in Malaysia after you finished your studies? You might say you want to qualify first in the UK/Aussie before coming back that's what most people say, which is fair, but will you actually come back and serve the people of Malaysia? The very people who support you through JPA scholarship?

7. Why LSE? I'm not even promoting Cass anymore because what they do now is ONLINE Lectures which is such a lazy-ass attitude from the lecturers to teach the students. Why not Heriot-Watt? Because it sounds like 'Herot-berot'?. Why not Kent if you still want to go to the UK for the power of pounds?

8. This is more of a personal glory to Jia Hui. I bet she never fails in her life and when this happened, it was hard to see other people 'getting' more than her.

9. I know this entry is so outdated. I wonder where is Jia Hui now? Melbourne or London?

10. For this case, JPA was right to offer Melbourne Uni to Jia Hui over LSE. Nothing against LSE, but if I were the JPA officer, I would do the same.

p/s: you can consider yourself lucky you won't be able to apply for PNB scholarships (Bumiputra only). You might be tempted by the money they are currently offering but you can forget about qualifying under their programme.

EK 346 to Gatwick

It was a different kind of flight this time when I was travelling from KUL to DBX for a transit back to London when there was the three of us, Singaporean Mr Wong, Iranian Max 'Miller' and the Malaysian me sitting in the same row 15-right.

They didn't give me the right first impressions as they were busy discussing about Max's personal encounter with some 'extreme' Malays during his 4 months stay in Malaysia.

Mr Wong, commented further on how he disagrees with some 'extreme' Muslims being so 'rigid' on eating in the same table as non-Muslims because of some pork-issues.

"Cannot touch pork!"

Max kept on repeating how Muslim Malays can be so extreme.

I only offered my opinion in regards with 'extreme' Muslim Malays when dealing with the Zakat fund in which Mr Wong agreed, adding that religious leaders, be it Muslims or Christians or Buddhists (Dalai Lama was mentioned) are 'fat cats' making money out of their respective religions.

We also talked about social problems in our countries but Mr Wong, being outspoken over racial issues in Malaysia had given some strong but sensible comments about how Malaysia can improve as a nation.

We also talked about the crooked bridge with Mahathir being the center of our discussion.

When asked if Singapore is paying so cheap of a price when importing water from Malaysia, Mr Wong agrees. "There is always a room for renegotiation. We know that we are paying at a very cheap price, but Mahathir was not using the right method to discuss. He threatened to switch off the tap but Lee Kuan Yew retaliated by saying 'we will go in and take the water'. We are always willing to pay more since we are a rich nation, but there was no discussion during Mahathir's time. Only fighting."

Mahathir has always been at odds with LKY. No discussion!

Meanwhile, I finally realised why Max was angry with Malay Muslims. It is because that Max is quite a liberal Muslim, his lifestyle will not suit Malay Muslims as most Malay Muslims don't drink alcohol and are biggest fans of Mahmoud Ahmedinejad.

Max is having troubles going in and out the country. Being a lecturer who loves travel he has every reason to disagree with Muslim Malaysians who support the Iranian President.

"We are paying the price for his 'boldness'!"

Apparently Max real name is not Max nor Miller. But Mahdi. He is about 30-40 years old.

Mr. Wong is a big fan of Zaid Ibrahim and also Nik Aziz, although he sometimes dislike the latter's Islamic views.

Mr. Wong is around 50 to 60 years old, a wise old man with a big smile as a weapon. Being a travel agency director that is like a checklist item.

There is one thing that I find really interesting when he told me about a story of an Indian MP in Singapore questioning the 'Special privileges' of the minorities which regards to education and called this privileges to be scrapped.

Yes, there is a special rights for Malays in Singapore I didn't know that.

LKY ticked off the Indian MP by slamming him that he had touched the 'sacred cow'. "This special privileges is enshrined in Singapore's constituency." In a country like Singapore, after a full force of demonising by Mahathir, people in Malaysia, Malays in particular, think that Malays are marginalised in Singapore.

"Under this special rights, Malays are given free education up until university," Mr Wong said.

Yes, PPSMI was also discussed. Mr Wong thinks Malaysia is going backwards by abolishing PPSMI. I added that it should be PPSMII with IT subject included.

"Is this a Mouse or Tetikus?" I barked in annoyance.

I saluted Singapore's brave move to unify all schools into one national school. Some Chinese schools in Singapore kept their Chinese names, but most subjects are taught in English. They can learn Mandarin or Tamil as a third language. Malay language is a compulsory subject.

No wonder the Singaporeans speak English better than us, Singlish or not.

Wa lau wei!

The 2-hour 3-way discussion ended when everyone fell asleep or started watching their favourite movies during the night flight.

I came to a conclusion that again, it's all about respect and knowing each other. Never ever give hate and prejudice the chance to take over our judgments.

Just because Mahathir taught us to hate Singapore (or Lee Kuan Yew), doesn't mean we have to hate Singaporeans.

Just because someone is Iranian, doesn't mean he supports the current President.

We all know that Muslims aren't supposed to eat pork or drink liquor. What you can do is respect their faith and don't simply brand these people extremists since you do eat pork and drink liquor.

We all know that Hindus don't eat beef and they believe that cow is a sacred animal and they do build temples to pray. What you can do is respect their faith and don't simply ask them to go back to India or slaughter this animal in front of them just to provoke them.

We all know that Christians do have their missionary brigades around the world that doesn't mean we should slaughter them and eat their meat just like an incident in Samoa many-many years ago. We also shouldn't allow Al-Islam journalists to snoop around the Christians activities to sell their magazines.

We all know that there are aethists around the world but that doesn't mean they can condemn people's belief in God. They should learn to respect other people's beliefs since most of these people believe in God since they were very young and vowed to have faith in God till the day they die.

"To you be your religion, and to me my religion." Al-Kaafiruun (Ayat 6)

How I was banned from commenting in 'Justice for Beng Hock' Facebook FanPage

Azrul Abu Hassan I hope you guys can accept the fact even if it has to be a suicidal case in the end. From that point, we need to ask ourselves why did he kill himself?

Azrul, a man commit suicide before the day of his marriage? A man commit suicide few months away from his first child birth? Man, the man must be crazy to even have a thought of that! How can you explain, if he was released why was his belongings still with MACC officers? Wouldn't it make sense that they are returned? He didn't have his wallet and mobile phone at the time his death... Use logic la, cos that ain't no logical to me at all.

well if the independent inquest also has suggested that beng hock killed himself, who do you want to believe anymore?

u dont believe the MACC, thats fine, because it happened in their builiding, it's open for any conspiracy.

if u dont believe the police anymore, thats fine, because u still want to generalise that all police are bad cops.... Read more

if u dont believe the government, thats your choice, this is democracy.

but if you dont believe the royal inquest, with the likes of independent CSI like team with the likes of Gobind Singh Deo around.. i dunno what makes you already?

In addition, Mui Yee, were you there when you saw if TBH was murdered to say such things above? What is the logic to that.

Let us be a bit sensible lah. I also want to see justice over his death. But I wont be so stupid to reject any other possibilities other than murder. Like I said, if he committed suicide, and proven by many, what can I say anymore?

but if it is, what we can do is, ask ourselves why did he kill himself. this is constructive. not emotive. this is what we call justice.

Azrul, understand your concern, but is really unbelievable someone will kill himself just like that when he will start his family and becoming a father soon.
Sometime we have to ask our self, WHY? Have you ask yourself why you agree? To me, is too much of doubt for "this case" even an ordinary person like me notice it. I never study Law, but I don... Read more't think is as simple as they want us to believe Azrul.
Is your right to believe if it is suicide, but even thought at the end the case is closed and no justice is done (as usual in Malaysia), I and a lot of Malaysian don't think so.

Azrul, how can we trust the what the first pathologist said? He did not interview on any suspect. He did not remotely try to check on any dna/finger print on TBH body/clothes/shoes because he THOUGHT the police would do that. Has the police did it? Nope. How can a pathologist rely on others to do his own job???? He admit his finding didn't add up ... Read morewith his PROFFESSIONAL views too. Let's talk about if you think TBH commited suicide, do you know what naturality on how one would do that? over 90% of commit suicider has previous record on attempting suicide and warn their family and friends that they will do it. How come TBH never had reported one? It takes a hell lot of strength to finish your life. Let alone TBH has a bright future to look forward to. A normal suicider would left their shoe as a sign of leaving their past but TBH shoes were either away from his body or was damaged. So, how come he wanted to commit suicide when all these did not add up?

I didnt refer to any pathologists.. i was just simply reminding you guys that we must be opened to any outcome. About TBH to be a father and getting married is irrelevant to the matter. One can decides to commit suicide in a split second. People are hard to judge, but this is what makes us human.

And what is this talk about 1800+ ppl killed by the authority?

Please speak with evidence, otherwise people would think we are just talk kedai kopi.... Read more

Being impartial is another important thing to do. mature people are impartial.

So i urge the moderators to remove any pics and slanders throughout the page. I'm just worried that other ppl would think we are being political here.

Azrul,

Please be careful in implying that "1800+ ppl killed by the authority". This came from no one but you. Isn't this a slander by itself and should be removed as you said? You got a knack of saying things that wasn't said. These are the people who died in detention, whose death was not documented properly and in most cases, are nameless victims. It also seems that you can't take other views well and seems to take things very personally. To be honest, accusing others of being 'political' is something that is unavoidable. Usually the same accusation hurled against others who doesn't share the same views.... Read more

Azrul, indeed. My husband said the same thing what you have just said at first. Though he did not follow the news but the more I read out news for him, he more he thinks something is fishy. Now, I read the news in full context so no edited or lines in my preferance. Like I said, a person who would commit suicide needs to be pushed over the edge to ... Read morebe able to commit. Though, such mentality are often has it's previous alarm warning. If he had depression he could have done it, but he did not have any mental illness. All the evidence provided and discussed in court are lack on convincin thousands or even millions of people that he did indeed cut his life short. In the phychology point, it's rarely he would commit suicide. In the bolder point, it's even hard to think he jumped out just like that. Azrul, are you a father? Are you a husband? How about this, if let say put yourself in his shoe why would you want to jump down when you clearly know someone love you so much are waiting to see u?

A potential suicider, always ask themselves THOUSANDS times IS THIS THE END before they really end their life. TBH has no reason whatsoever unless he was pushed over the edge.

Azrul, you inserted "killed by the authority" behind the 1800+. That did not come from JFBH, it came from you, and that is a slanderous remark. I guess i cant expect the 'fans' of this page can be told what to do is right.

Others can choose to read what we wrote. They are not blind, and certainly have no reason deny what is image formed on their retina.

Snippy-Piglets

On unity government...
I don't know what Abdul Hadi Awang is trying to do. Did he just realise that the Pakatan way would be a more liberal and anti-Malay/Muslim way of living in Malaysia because of the presence of more dominant parties PKR and DAP (difference of ideologies)? Or simply he could smell an opportunity to join the Federal Government the quickest? Or maybe SINCERELY wanting to bring all Muslims in Malaysia together looking at how Muslims are divided in Malaysia? (UMNO-Muslims, UMNO-seculars, PAS-pro muzakarah Muslims, PAS anti-muzakarah, PAS Erdogans, PKR-Muslims, PKR-liberals-seculars, Indian-Muslims... etc). Whatever the reason is, PAS joining UMNO would be cheating. (froggies rule?). PAS joining Barisan Nasional to fight together for the next GE is however, not cheating. I don't really mind if Muslims in Malaysia really want to bond together because that is what Prophet Muhammad PBUH would want, since he detests Qabilah practice (Muslims having various groups) among the Muslims. However, this must only be done without the expense of the Non-Muslims because Prophet Muhammad encourages Muslim leaders to take good care of all citizens regardless of races. I know the Pakatan leaders have held a press conference rejecting a unity government, but, they can always discuss with Barisan Nasional on how to improve Malaysia for the benefits of the people.
On Tuan Guru Nik Aziz...
I have to agree with Mahathir when he said Tuan Guru is old and grumpy, like him! Although it could be contributed by the way PAS was so-called 'treated' many years ago (1970s when they joined Barisan), he forgot that Islam encourages people to forgive and forget. Depicting UMNO as communists and Sky Kingdom practices is somewhat shallow and of a sweeping statement. Worse, UMNO was once called kaffirs which really left a bad taste on people's perception of PAS, extreme and shouldn't be able to go well with liberals and seculars like DAP. Tuan Guru can accept ex-UMNO people (ie forgiven and forgotten of their past) like Anwar and many others in PKR (literally ex UMNO members and MPs) but not the current UMNO people although they had nothing to do with the 1970s issue. I guess it's because this is politics. He is againts the idea of a unity government, like Husam, because he doesn't want to see PAS under UMNO, worse than what he feels PAS's current position. Well, Nik Aziz is still human... derived from the word Insaan, that would mean Forgetful, in Arabic. So he made a mistake calling people names.. even Nasha was not spared, being emotionally shown to the door to join UMNO if Nasha was so interested about uniting the Muslims. Well, I am. So don't call me names if I want something better for the Muslims. In fact what are you so scared of? You can even expose UMNO wrong-doings when you are with Barisan in a party of your own!
On Chin Peng returning to Malaysia...
Man this one is so ridiculous even having to discuss it! Anwar seconded the motion (expectedly), because he simply wants to please people who support Communism/Socialism that made of some part of Pakatan Rakyat (shall I say DAP? SAPP?). I almost choked to death when some Malay guys on Facebook bravely saying how they welcome Chin Peng back home, obviously hardcore fans of Anwar Ibrahim. (monkey see, monkey do!). They even said something like "those people killed by PKM are the slaves of the invaders (English)". Slaves of invaders or slaves of the nation? Nothing against the former DPM, I am saying all this because I don't want to see the decendants of the people getting killed fighting the Communist guerillas being illy-provoked. Well yeah, PKM fought for the country against the Japanese and even the English later to achieve democracy. Well, it's because they wanted to rule Tanah Melayu as well! With their own ideology 'some more'! Who wouldn't jump into that kind of opportunity? Being the new kings? The Malayan and English forces fought them off and the Malaysian government called truce with PKM in the 1980s. Chin Peng, Samsiah Faqih, Razak Mohiedeen.... I don't think they were allowed home because the Government didn't want to spur anger among the fighters who were still living, and their families and friends. Bringing them home would indicate they were forgiven of their brutal insurgency. So, it's a no-no. I think Samsiah died and her body was brought home. I don't think it's a big deal anyway since they are happy to believe in Communism, now that China's current government practices a bit of the Communism anyway so they will be fine. In addition, my great uncle was killed by a PKM member and so was their Chinese neighbour, simply for not co-operating. So over my dead body PKM can be forgiven. Yeah I talked about forgive and forget earlier but this is different when we are talking about innocent and national heroes' lives been taken. Nuff said.
On Manohara vs Hubby...
I don't think it's a national issue. It's a waste of time really. So what if your husband loves dominatrix sex? Don't give me that bull-crap that you were against it. You could have said no and asked him to stop nicely. You are his wife for God sake, not his slave! When you said you were 'numb', it is sort of like a give away to me that you are simply being in denial. I can't find drugs that can make you numb but concious at the same time. You kinda loved it didn't you? Until you found it awkward being treated like a sex slave after telling the whole ordeal to your mom. You naive little girl. You thought you hit the jackpot marrying a prince and living like a princess. Well, I am sorry. Life is definitely not a fairy-tale movie. Did anyone tell you that? Did your mom tell you that or she was delightful when she heard the news her daughter's marrying a prince? And what the hell is this talk about you being kidnapped and being raped by your husband? My God. My prophet told me a wife is like a field, where her 'husband can plow the seeds in anyway he wants... as long as the wife is clean from haid and nifas... and never do it from the anus because God will never look at the face of men who do it in Paradise...'. So there's no such thing as rape in a married life. Allowing sex is one of the reasons people get married in Islam. I'm sure this Manohara is Muslim despite her Indonesian name and that half-covered-UMNO-like scarf. And yeah, suddenly you wanted to make it like a national issue by joining forces with the riots against Ambalat-invasion? Fame-seeker! Glory-hunter! And now she is shooting for an Indonesian series. Obvious! So again, just keep your bloody love story behind closed doors! You are just making a mockery of your already-screwed marriage. It's a joke really!
On calls for justice for gay people in Malaysia...
Oh please... you are in Malaysia, you live by its rules. You wanna change it, make your own party, win election and debate in the Parliament and see if it's gonna work in a traditional, Muslim-dominated country like Malaysia. Adultery, be it from the 'front' or from 'behind' is a crime in Malaysia. But I know the authority (cops) don't really catch people for adultery (hell yeah spas with prostitutes are everywhere in KL). The JAKIM snoop-cats however, are more interested with Muslims committing adultery. This is somewhat against the real teachings of Islam as Muslims are not allowed to search-and-catch, storm into properties, snoop around people committing sins (mencari-cari kesalahan orang lain adalah dosa besar). However, if by-chance that you are caught committing a crime, you should be punished. If one is committing a crime and a neighbour called the authority, that shouldn't be a problem, Islamically. But again, I am sure there are thousands of gay people in Malaysia (Western-culture-shocked, easily-influenced, emotional people - yeah don't blame God for it), they can live on with their lives as long as they don't get caught. I bet gay guys in Malaysia are mostly Malays. Wanna bet on that? I don't care really as long as you realise one day what you are doing is against any religion, unnatural, unhealthy and you don't establish a recruitment agency to lure others into your dungeon and thats fine really. P/S: I have a senior who is a drag Queen now in KL. Or should I say drag half-Queen?
On not punctual people...
I was really angry having to wait for 42 minutes for a couple of so-called educated, Raja Petra fans friends to treat them from my first pay. That was not the first time and on top of that, I was double booked for their friend from Portsmouth. (obviously if they are reading this, yeah screw them I had enough of being nice to KIDS). If you made a promise, I don't expect you to break it. If you are late, should have called or texted me earlier. I even gave 40 minutes of waiting time but thats probably the limit. In the 42nd minute, I just left for home from Leicester friggin Square. Saved me some bucks as well despite losing some 'friends'. I don't care I just hate being made a waiting toy!
On Arsenal new signing...
Fact: Thomas Vermaelen is shorter than Toure and Gallas by a centimeter. And we are having problems with the aerial defence at the back! Thank God for that. I expect more signings especially from the midfield. Strong, powerful, Vieira-like midfielder. A prolific towering striker like Dzeko wouldn't hurt as well after getting rid of that Ade-BAH-yor.
